Most effective diaper cream hands down!

I am a mom of 4 and I have worked in a Nursery for about 8 years so I have dealt with TONS of different diaper rashes over the years and have used so many different brands of creams and ointments that I have never considered very effective at preventing rashes or treating an active rash. When my 3rd child was born I stumbled on this cream and figured I would try it. It’s amazing! I used it every night on my son after a bath and he never got a single diaper rash. I purchased it again when I had my 4th child and so far he has only had one diaper rash because one night I forgot to apply it before bed and he had a really bad bowel movement overnight and it dried to his skin, causing a very horrible, red, bleeding and oozing rash. So for the next 12 hours I changed his diaper hourly, cleaned him with a wet cloth by gently dabbing, and applying a layer of this diaper cream at each diaper change. After his evening bath I laid him down on a towel on the floor with no clothes or diaper to “air out” his skin for about 20 minutes and then applied a layer of cream and a new diaper right before bed. The next morning the rash was almost completely gone. Halfway through the 2nd day his rash was nonexistent. I found this to be remarkable considering when I’m at work in the Nursery oftentimes when the babies get that severe of a rash it turns into a weeklong battle to get rid of, and sometimes gets worse to the point of requiring a visit to their pediatrician for a prescription strength cream/ointment. Yes, the cream is very thick, but that’s part of the reason I think it is so effective, it creates a strong barrier to the skin that other ointments and creams cannot (other creams tend to separate when applied or are easily rubbed off from the diaper or washed off from urine). Warming this cream up between your fingers helps to spread it on more easily. And because it’s so thick a little goes a long way so one tub will last a long time. So to sum it up, this cream is magic! My only complaint is there doesn’t seem to be an option for 2oz tubs anymore. In the past I was able to buy a 4oz tub to keep at the daycare and a 2oz tub to keep in the diaper bag because the smaller size made it more travel friendly. Please offer a travel size!!

Search for the perfect bum cream is finally over!

I didn't actually purchase this from Amazon, but I buy a LOT of goods from Amazon and find the reviews so helpful. I love this product so much that I felt it was a civic duty to spread the word about this cream. When my son was 2 weeks old he developed such a nasty diaper rash, it was heartbreaking. The hospital had initially told us to use only petroleum jelly on our son, which obviously was poor advice, as the rash he got was terrible. Our doctor told us to find a diaper cream with the highest amount of zinc we could find and to apply it thickly, like frosting a cake! He actually recommended Desitin extra strength. Well my husband and I were so disgusted by the fish oil smell of that cream, but we persevered in the hope that it would cure the rash. So what if it was stinky as long as it worked. Well it didn't work! After two weeks it still hadn't completely cured the rash. Next to try was Sudocrem, an amazing product, but only if you use it the opposite way you are advised to on the directions! The directions say to spread a very thin layer on, you shouldn't be able to see white film at all. Well we gooped it on and THEN it worked great! However, this was getting expensive. Once the rash was gone, we kept using Sudocrem but I always had my eyes open for other creams to try, and I was never happy with any of them. Too thin, too thick, too fragranced, too medicinal smelling, you name it, I found fault in everything. Thought I was destined to fork out heaps of money monthly on expensive jars of Sudocrem. Until a random day I saw the cute little Baby Butz jar on a shelf in Safeway, and thought what the hell, what's one more jar to collect dust in the diaper cream graveyard? Well it definitely doesn't collect dust, we finally found the perfect bum cream after months and months. The texture is thick but not too thick, no scent, and the best part is that it actually coats the skin. When I take a diaper off there is still a zinc layer on my sons bottom. So much so that if it's just a pee diaper I don't even wipe his bum, just the front. You don't need a lot of cream, so we're finally spending a reasonable amount of money on diaper rash cream. I keep a travel size in my diaper bag as I never want to he without it. Read the story of how this cream came about and it will warm your heart. You know what they say, necessity is the mother of all invention. I recommend this product to everyone with babies, I'm just so impressed with it.

MIRACLE CREAM!!!

I struggled soooo much getting rid of my 4 week old's diaper rash. I tried everything and when I tell you everything it's allllll of the brands off the shelf. My pediatrician recommended a cream that also didn't work. I'm sooooo thankful I came across a parents page online where they recommended this cream. It literally saved my baby's bottom and my sanity. Look no further. This cream was my miracle!!!!

Our go to

Our go to diaper cream! I am not sure if it’s the higher percentage of zinc than sudocream but I find it very effective. The only time we have mild rashes it clears them up in 24 hours.
